The Charles County Arts Alliance's biggest day of the year lands in Indian Head this Saturday, and it's free. ArtsFest brings together artists, performers, and art lovers from across the region for a full day of live music, dance, and theater, plus artwork for sale spanning painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and jewelry.
There are hands-on art activities for all ages, food from local vendors, and both outdoor and indoor spaces, so a little weather won't ruin it. Bring the kids, bring your wallet if you've been meaning to buy actual local art for your walls, or just come wander.
If you only make it to one thing this week, this is the one. It's the kind of event that reminds you how much creative talent lives in this county.
